Alumni

Up to now about 250 fellows completed their doctorate within the programme of the RUB Research School. They live worldwide in 18 countries and work in responsible positions in academia, business, science management and other professional fields.
The Research School aims to keep a long-lasting, collaborative relationship with the alumni and appreciates them as important partners in the further development of the school.

We target to establish a network for our alumni designed

  • to have access to offers which specially address the Research School Alumni,
  • to integrate the academic and professional expertise of our alumni in the development of the Research School
  • to communicate with other alumni and current fellows.

We hope you are interested in a joint activity of former doctoral fellows, current doctoral candidates and RUB researcher and the CCO!

Activities
We set up special events for RS alumni that address your professional interest . Have a look on the workshop offers on this site.
For further workshops have a look at the programme of the RUB Professional Development Office.

The Research School aims to integrate the academic and professional expertise of the alumni to support the current generation of fellows and to enrich the development of the programme with first hand expertise. Several alumni have already been involved in parts of the programme like the ‘Wirtschaftskolleg’. You are interested to promote the exchange between current doctoral fellows and alumni? We highly appreciate your suggestions.

Some events of the current programme may also be interesting for alumni. Most of the events are open to alumni and you are most welcome to take part! Please check the programme. For further questions on the programme please contact Dr. Ursula Justus.
