Career Guidance
Supporting individual career planning and strengthening professional skills competencies
The Career Guidance programme supports doctoral candidates’ preparations for a successful career in academia, business, industry, or any field within the public sector. The programme offers numerous opportunities to actively develop personal and professional skills in a variety of areas (e.g. project management, leadership skills). Several events and training help plan and prepare for the future career and familiarize career perspectives before the completion of the doctorate. Opportunities to build relationships with institutions and representatives from business, industry, administration, and the public sector are provided as well as information about international and domestic job opportunities. Workshops and training facilitates advising and guidance to gain first employment-related skills and competencies.
