Research Day

(Sections‘ Day RURS)
Within the last 3 years each section organised a section day as a one-day conference combining lectures on research topics with presentations of research projects by RURS fellows within one section. 

Encouraged by these experiences and the strong interest of the fellows in an academic exchange within the sections and beyond we would like to go one step further and organize a one-day meeting for fellows from all sections.
The Research Day at RUB Research School will present research projects of RURS fellows to communicate state-of-the art research on campus. 

To reach this aim we encourage a high diversity of project presentations – from poster to video or talk. An important part of the Research Day is dedicated to the scientific exchange between you – the fellows of RURS. The programme will cover sessions that facilitate the communication within and across disciplinary boundaries and support a scientific dialogue in- and outside the different research fields.

You can present your research project to fellows from all sections, gain insight into research projects and discussions of your own and other research fields and meet fellows from all disciplines to discuss joined research questions and methods. 
The success of the Research Day depends on your interest in research discussions within your discipline and beyond and your active participation – with or without presentation of your research project.The Research Day is open to all scientists at RUB to support and enable a broad research discussion within the scientific community of RURS and RUB.

We expect at least one active participation with the presentation of your research project in 3 years within the structured research training programme of the Ruhr University Research School.
