Report The research stay included participation in the conference "Reaction and Resistance: Imagining Possible Futures in the Americas" with participation in the panel "From the countryside to #consumingpeace: Socioeconomic Reintegration Proceses in the Colombian Post-agreement held in Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá in June 2024.

Subsequently, this second round of fieldwork included reconnecting with informants made the previous year and visiting former combatants of the FARC guerrilla and the economic projects they develop in order to transition from war skills, economies and identities to civilian skills, economies and identities. The research focused on how the former combatants maintained their relations with other former combatants, and how they engaged with groups of civil society including vicitims. To study these links, the research focused on a heterogenous sample that included different productive lines like textile manufacturing, coffee production, tourism projects, commercialization or social services, and concentrated in different regions including the Caribbean, the Andes, and the flatlands.
From these information, the project proposes to explain how former FARC combatants envision collective transition and the material expressions of such transition. It also deals with how former combatants develop territorial notions that they can later apply in their reintegration efforts.
