| Report | As part of her PhD research, Mireia Paulo undertook a five-day field trip to London, where she participated in an international legal congress attended by lawyers from 26 countries. The congress covered a range of topics, including data protection and privacy. During the event, Mireia engaged in discussions with legal professionals specialising in her research area, gaining invaluable insights into the EU’s regulatory landscape on data governance and privacy protection. These interactions also brought to her attention an upcoming conference in Brussels, scheduled for November 2024, where prominent stakeholders in the field will convene.
