Report My doctoral project deals with intimate relationships with chatbots. To research the history of ELIZA’s origin, a program which was written by Joseph Weizenbaum and is often considered the first of its kind, I visited the Weizenbaum personal archives at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, USA.
