Report Thanks to the International Realization Budget, I was able to visit the Centro de Estudios Sobre Genocidio (CEG) at the Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero (UNTREF) in Buenos Aires for three months. At the CEG, I predominantly worked with the team of Prof. Dr. Daniel Feierstein. Next to attending the classes “Human Rights in Argentina” with exchange students from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and “Análisis Comparado de Conflictos Internacionales Contemporáneos” with students from UNTREF, especially the extensive exchange with the CEG-team made my stay in Argentina invaluable. By discussing my dissertation project with the interdisciplinary team, I particularly made conceptual progress and decided to incorporate various core ideas from Daniel Feierstein’s work into my thesis.
After my research stay, Prof. Dr. Feierstein agreed to become my second thesis supervisor. I am very much looking forward to his return visit to Germany this coming September, which will further foster the collaboration between the KKC at the RUB and the CEG in Buenos Aires.
