| Report | I presented at the International Studies Association Annual Convention in Chicago. This included sitting in on numerous panels related to humanitarian action, armed conflict, and non-state armed groups which linked in with my previous research and work with the NOHA Network. At the conference, I presented my ongoing work and research on proactive protection of civilians in armed conflict on a panel titled "Contemporary Armed Conflicts. Bridging the Gaps Between Standards and War Practices". Here I was able to receive feedback from colleagues from different disciplines around different facets of the project and my research connected to it. |
