Thanks to the support of the IRB, I had the opportunity to spend six weeks at the University of Cincinnati under the supervision of Prof. Peter Langland-Hassan. This research stay was made possible through an informal exchange with Ilir Isufi, a PhD student from Cincinnati. Before visiting Bochum, he connected with our research group and proposed an apartment exchange, which also enabled a full research visit. During my time at Cincinnati, I engaged with the Philosophy Department, participated in its academic environment, and received weekly feedback from Prof. Langland-Hassan, who has since become my second supervisor. This experience was both intellectually enriching and personally rewarding, offering valuable insights and new perspectives for my research. Moreover, this exchange has opened a channel of communication—particularly among PhD students—aimed at fostering future collaborations and making similar research visits more accessible. By strengthening these connections, we hope to encourage further exchanges and academic cooperation between our institutions. |
