Report I attended the Biosensors 2025 annual congress, where I gave an oral presentation titled "Optical microresonator-based sensor for chip-independent multiplexed biosensing". In my talk, I introduced a novel optical biosensing platform that combines multiplexed microresonator imaging with machine learning to address challenges related to sensor variability and limited dataset availability. The system enables integration of thousands of high-Q microresonators across up to 16 functional channels per chip and achieves ppb-level detection limits for various IgG subtypes. By training on data from different chips, we demonstrated reliable, chip-independent IgG detection in complex solutions using a robust deep learning framework. This approach mitigates issues such as manufacturing inconsistency and biochemical layer instability, paving the way for affordable, disposable biosensors. The presentation had a positive reception that enabled to establish several new contacts with researchers in related fields. These discussions may lead to future collaborations focused on integrating our sensing platform into broader diagnostic and analytical applications.
