| Report | This trip combined an invited talk at the University of Tennessee, research at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and a consultation visit at the German Historical Institute. The talk at UT was productive, because I presented my project to an interdisciplinary group of scholars. Based on this presentation I was asked to contribute to a peer reviewed journal. The archival research gave me the opportunity to enrich my sources. I was lucky to find that the archivists had made more documents of relevance to me available. At the GHI, I had the fruitful discussion with their Director, I had planned for, and was also there to join the events surrounding their prestigious Fall Lecture. https://www.ghi-dc.org |
