Report The Research School Plus provided me with financial support, so that I was able to take part in the Cold Spring Harbor Asia meeting 'GTPases: Mechanisms, Interactions and Applications', which took place in Suzhou in China in September 2014. The conference was a great opportunity for me to get in contact with many international experts in the field of GTPases. Through presenting a poster, I was able to introduce my preliminary results in a professional environment. The subsequent discussions after poster presentation and during the whole conference gave me new ideas for my ongoing project. All in all, it was a great chance for me to visit the Cold Spring Asia Harbor meeting.
