| Report | My doctoral project scrutinizes the South-South socio-cultural impact of migration in the migrants' home communities. In doing so, I conducted a fieldwork in Bangladesh for more than three months. In addition to Bangladesh, initially, I planned to undertake my field research in one of the Gulf countries. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, I couldn't make it. Later, I presented my research findings at the European Conference on South Asian Studies (ECSAS), held at the University of Warsaw, Poland. I am very grateful to the RUB Research School Plus for their kind support without which my field research would have been harder. |
