Report During my short research stay in the Angelaki lab at NYU, I was able to observe complex electrophysiological experiments using high-density probes (Neuropixels) combined with virtual reality tests in mice and learned about the lab's data analysis approach and techniques. This was an inspiration for the experimental setup I would like to build for my future research projects. Moreover, the discussions I was exposed to during my stay led to new ideas for my Ph.D. project and for my neuroscience career overall.
