Report Thanks to the funding of Int.Mo.P, I attended the International Conference on Computing in Civil and Building Engineering (ICCCBE2024) in Montréal, Canada. The ICCCBE is a bi-annual conference series that has been established for over 40 years and is a flagship conference on computing for the built environment. I had two active parts in the conference, first, being a session chair for a scientific session on digital methods for building energy management systems, and second, presenting my recent research on Digital Twins for infrastructure as part of my PostDoc project "GreenInfraTwins". The highlight of my presented research is integrating multiple existing Digital Twin systems based on a System-of-Systems approach into an overall application with a unique interface without introducing new reference architectures but only reusing existing approaches of the Semantic Web.
The opportunity to present my research at ICCCBE2024 allowed me to discuss the next steps in research and to connect with experts from all over the world.
