| Report | In June 2025, I attended the 8th International Conference on Computational Modeling of Fracture and Failure of Materials and Structures (CFRAC 2025), which took place in Porto, Portugal. Researchers from around the world came together to share their newest research on various aspects of computational modeling of fracture and failure of materials. At the conference, I presented my research results to other researchers in a mini-symposium about quasi-brittle cracking, coupled processes, and hydraulic fracturing. I am really happy that I had an opportunity to discuss my work with many prominent scientists and receive their valuable feedback on my work. Furthermore, I established some new contacts, which have a potential to result in joint work in the future. Finally, I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to fascinating presentations that inspired new ideas for my future work. |
