Conference Participation: 5th ISA Forum of Sociology “Knowing Justice in the Anthropocene”, 06-11th July 2025 in Rabat, Morocco From 06th to 11th July 2025, I was able to participate in the 5th ISA Forum of Sociology in Rabat. Thanks to the IRB, I could give two presentations about my current PhD research and also chair a panel titled “The Impact of Violence: Its Consequences for Memory, Representation, and Trauma”. Through this, I got to know the ISA Working Group 11 “Violence and Society” and had the chance to connect with many researchers within this relatively new field of study. I am looking forward to staying in touch with this network, and hopefully, I will be able to support the group’s aim to create a Research Committee within the International Sociological Association in the future. Moreover, the positive feedback on my presentations encourages me to continue the work on my dissertation and move forward with its current direction. |
