The International Aquatic Plants Group organised the 17th International Symposium on Aquatic Plants in Lisbon, Portugal. Jacqueline received travel funding to travel (by train and bus) to the conference and presented the results of a research project about the effects of river regulation for hydropower production on riparian vegetation in Sweden. She also met with partners from an existing international research collaboration and joined a group of international researchers that is preparing an application for EU funding later in 2025.
