Report I am grateful for the IRB, which enabled me to realize the participation in the conference EURO:TUN 2025, Computational Methods and Information Models in Tunneling, held in Vienna, Austria, on September 22-24, 2025, which was the sixth conference of a series of successful conferences started in 2007. The three-days of the conference were filled of valuable Information about new developments and applications of computational models and methods in tunnelling and subsurface engineering.
It was great to present the results of my research and explain the experimental and numerical methods I adopted. The audience ’s feedback allowed me to distance myself from the result of my work, see it in a different light, and expand the breadth of my research. Being involved with the top professional research groups who work at the forefront in their field is unrivaled in expanding my international network. Apart from that, Vienna is very nice city rich in history and culture. Thanks to the Research School which supported me to develop as a scholar author and paved the way to personal and professional success.
