| Report |
Thanks to the support of the IRB, I had the opportunity to spend two months at Rutgers University under the supervision of Prof. Susanna Schellenberg. During this research stay, I actively engaged with the research community of the Philosophy Department and the Center for Cognitive Science. While at Rutgers, I attended a graduate seminar as well as two reading groups, which provided an excellent opportunity to deepen my understanding of current debates relevant to my project and to discuss my work with faculty and graduate students. I also gave two talks—one at the Philosophy Department and one at the Center for Cognitive Science—which allowed me to present my ongoing research, receive detailed feedback, and refine key aspects of my arguments through discussion. In addition, during this period I was able to visit New York University, where I attended Prof. David Chalmers’ reading group and Prof. Robert Hopkins’ seminar. These activities further enriched the research stay by exposing me to ongoing work at another leading philosophy department. Overall, this research stay was intellectually highly valuable and contributed significantly to the development of my doctoral project. It also helped strengthen academic connections between institutions and foster exchanges that may support future collaboration. The experience was highly enriching both professionally and culturally. |
