This workshop is particularly helpful for researchers who want to reflect on their individual strategies and skills for a highly autonomous work and life style and who would like to facilitate their competencies in dealing with time- and selfmanagement.
The demanding and challenging phase of a PhD is often accompanied by a shortage of time, stress and conflicts on different levels. There are many balls to juggle while balancing your thesis, professional projects, teaching and private life all at once. Specifically, creating personal time and managing all your goals and challenges are the key to success.
In detail, this two-day time -, self - and stress management workshop deals with:
- the view of your own personality structure and resulting stressors
- the influence of life goals and values ??on the prioritization and representation of interests
- tools for time management in research and for a self-responsible scientific work in the university context
- deal with the unplannable,
This training is all about identifying your personal stress triggers and finding new ways to cope with your stressors. You learn to clearly recognize some of your personal stress amplifiers, such as perfectionism, procrastination or the feeling of being alone on this journey. The training invites us to observe how we put ourselves under pressure time and time again and which inner attitudes lead us to behave as we do.
Furthermore, the training offers you the opportunity to exchange experiences with your peers, discussion within groups and self-contemplation.
