| Report | The support of the Research School PLUS allowed me to combine attending the Gordon Research Conference – Tetrapyrroles with two lab visits in the USA. This Gordon Research Conference is one of the conferences with highest impact in my field of research and presented recent advances and unpublished results. In general Gordon Research Conferences are known to provide extensive opportunities for junior scientists and graduate students to exchange ideas with leaders in the field. The lab visits gave me the chance to exchange knowledge and experiences with foreign groups in a deeper way than only the conference.
