The international project was divided into two sub-projects. The first one was a research stay at the Centre de Recherche sur l'Hétéro-Epitaxie et ses Applications located in Valbonne, France. Different measurements for the characterization of GaN and InAs quantum dots, both implanted in Bochum before, were performed and significant results for my PhD were provided. The second sub-project was a visit of the 20th International Conference on Ion Beam Modification of Materials in Wellington, New Zealand. I presented a talk about my research and had fruitful discussions. Thus, my PhD benefits a lot by both the excellent experiments and my widened expertise in ion beam physics. |
