Online Workshop via ZOOM
This workshop concentrates on the process of writing an academic manuscript for publications in peer-reviewed journals. Choosing an audience, creating a story, explaining complex data and formulating convincing arguments will be discussed. Additionally, detailed information will be given regarding the content of each manuscript section. Workshop participants will be instructed in the formal and organizational aspects of academic writing and train their competency with exercises.
At the end of the workshop participants will:
Trainer-input and lecture coupled with practical exercises and group work. The workshop will be held online using the plaform Zoom.
A computer with a camera and microphone.
Participants should bring:
Melanie Lynn Conrad PhD, was born in Vancouver, Canada, where she studied biology at the University of British Columbia. With many years of experience in science, her expertise includes paper and grant writing. Presently, she leads a reproductive immunology research group at the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
