| Report | I participated in the Summer Course Glycosciences 2014 in Wageningen, Netherlands. There I had the opportunity to attend basic, as well as advanced, lectures about the latest research in the field of glycosciences. Thus I got a broad insight into the research field of my PhD project and related topics. The atmosphere of the Summer Course was pleasant, and productive and during breaks I had the chance to discuss with speakers and participants from 19 different countries. During these discussions and during my poster presentation I received valuable advice, which will be helpful for my PhD studies. I started my PhD just three months ago and I am very grateful to the RUB Research School Plus for funding my attendance at the Summer Course at that early stage of my dissertation project. Thus I was able to learn new methods and could get into contact with eminent scientists in my area of research from all over Europe. |
