DFG Fellow Dr. Harikrishnan Aravindakshan

Research Explorer 2022

Harikrishnan was awarded a prestigious Temporary Position for Principal Investigators by the German Research Foundation (DFG) starting from February 2025. He is currently staying with JProf. Dr. Maria Elena Innocenti at the Chair for Computer-oriented Plasma Physics.

Participating in the Research Explorer Ruhr (RER) program was a pivotal step in my research career. The program’s workshops provided clarity amidst the myriad of funding options, helping me identify the most suitable postdoctoral funding schemes in Germany. Additionally, RER facilitated my collaboration with Jun-Prof. Maria Elena Innocenti, who is my current post doctoral supervisor. I am grateful to the organizing committee for creating such a supportive and enriching environment.
