RUB Research School

Do it Open Access

Publish the Outcome of Your Scientific Event

You have organized your own scientific event and would like to publish the contributions or results of the event in a conference volume? RUB Research School offers you its own platform to publish these volumes with open access (OA): RUB Research School Event Proceedings. This option is available both for doctoral researchers who have financed their conference via PR.INT Event and for postdocs who have realized a conference via other means.

Benefits of the publication via RUB Research School Event Proceedings

All publications on this platform

  • are free of charge for the editors (no BPS) and authors (no APC)
  • are reliably available via the university library and long-term archiving by the German National Library (DNB)
  • are very easy to find (e.g. via catalogs and search engines)
  • are citable through DOI assignment
  • have separately accessible conference papers (PDF format) with their own landing page
  • guarantee that the rights of use remain with the authors
  • are published under a Creative Commons license (CC BY / CC BY-SA), making them legally reusable

As part of the publication of their own conference proceedings, the editors also acquire the know-how of the entire OA publication process.

How to publish within the RUB Research School Event Proceedings

Doctoral researchers and postdocs interested in publishing their volume can do so

(1) as part of their application in PR.INT Event or after the application procedure (doctoral researchers)

(2) after the realization of their event with or without prior funding (doctoral researchers and postdocs).

In both cases, this form must be completed and submitted with the PR.INT Event application or seperately to Sarah Gemicioglu
