Career Workshop Chile 2022
Mario participated in our career workshop in Santiago de Chile in cooperation with DAAD Chile in May 2022. As a chemical engineer, he found RUB very attractive. We got Mario in touch with Prof. Dr. Ulf-Peter Apfel. After a first online interview, they both worked on developing a research proposal and applied successfully for a Becas/DAAD full doctoral scholarship.
"In May 2023, I will start my PhD at Ruhr-Universität Bochum. I feel truly excited about the challenge. I want to dedicate my professional life to reesarch and teaching and I feel grateful that this journey startst RUB"
