| Report | My research at both Hong Kong Public Records Office and Hong Kong University provided highly expressive results and also allowed me to intensify my research network in Greater China significantly. My participation in the “Waste in Asia 2016” conference at Leiden University was an important step in my network building beyond the field of Chinese history, providing one of few occasions worldwide to allow for focused discussions and the building of new theoretical approaches in the field of global waste studies in the humanities.
