| Report | The Research School PLUS program funded my attendance at a biological meeting in Bonita Springs (Florida). This conference is the most important meeting in the field of Chemoreception and therefore an ideal platform to present my current research data to renowned scientists. During my poster presentation it was quite easy to get into contact with other PhD students and professors as well. We discussed several aspects of my project, latest results and future experiments. One professor even gave me an advice to adjust an experimental setup and he will support me to establish this technique in my department. In sum, the attendance at a scientific meeting related to my research field was a striking event promoting my work and expanding contacts with renowned scientists. www.achems.org |
