Report | My PhD focuses on magmatic processes in upper parts of cooling magma chambers. For further insight into these processes I study fluid inclusions from the Sn-W-Li deposit in Zinnwald, Germany. In April 2016, I had the opportunity to visit Prof. R. J. Bakker for one week at the Montan University in Leoben, Austria. He is a worldwide known specialist in the field of fluid inclusion studies and I had the chance to conduct my experiments with him in his lab. Additionally, in August 2016 I was able to present some of my work at the „IGC2016“ in Cape Town, South Africa, which is one of the biggest conferences in Geoscience. |
