| Report | My research is concerned with integrated circuit design for radar sensors. Funded by RUB’s Research School Plus I was able to present my latest research results at an international conference about bipolar and BiCMOS circuits in Bordeaux, France. This conference is highly appreciated in the integrated circuits community and many of the topics discussed at this conference are concerned with similar research activities. My presentation attracted interest and acknowledgement, which gives me high motivation to carry on my research activities, because competing at international conferences is quite an important factor in a successful doctoral project. Furthermore, discussions with other experts from the field of integrated circuit design will help me to find further applications of the system that I presented and also to push my doctoral project into the right direction. Apart from presentation of my own work, the conference was attended by researchers from the field of high frequency circuit design as well as experts from semiconductor manufacturers. As we use one of their advanced technologies, the conference was a good location to intensify contacts to these project partners during the breaks and evenings and gives additional benefit for future cooperation. www.ieee.org |
