Report | I was invited to Northwestern University to present my PhD project and get in touch with other researches who also work on my field or close-by subjects. This exchange took place as part of an international workshop which itself emerged from the contact enabled by a preceding VIP-funding for our host. At Northwestern we discussed our projects with faculty and PhD candidates as well as graduate students from several disciplines. This format of having specific respondents to my talk as well as the interdisciplinarity of the workshop as such was highly enriching for my project. Besides this we were able to attend other international conferences and seminars that were related to our projects. http://www.philosophy.northwestern.edu/people/continuing-faculty/deutscher-penel |
