| Report | The Cold Spring Harbor Asia Conference on GTPases: Mechanisms, Interactions and Applications was held in Suzhou, China from 22. - 26. Sept. 2014. The central issue of this conference was to get new insights into the current state of research of the oncogenic-relevant Ras superfamily of small GTPases, from atomic up to cellular level. The oral sessions were subdivided into each group of the big Ras superfamily and presentations were held by well-known specialists in the field of small GTPases. I myself presented my current work on a poster in the poster session of the conference, from which inspiring discussions were followed and potentially new and old research contacts were established. |
