Report The European Society for Periodical Research (ESPRit) organized a PhD workshop on periodical studies prior to this year’s conference “Periodicals In-Between” (27-29 June) at Paris-Sorbonne. With the support of Research School Plus, I got the opportunity to present my PhD project to an international audience of other PhD candidates as well as established scholars of my research field who gave me very helpful feedback. Furthermore, the funding of an international summer school “Coherence and Interruption: Seriality in Periodicals” (13-15 September) which I organized with two colleagues in Bochum provided the opportunity to continue the exchange and to strengthen these international contacts.
