| Report | The financial support from the Research School PLUS program enabled me to attend a conference for biologists in Bonita Springs (Florida). The Association for Chemoreception Sciences (AChemS) is an international association of renowned scientists that advances the understanding of the senses of taste and smell. Therefore, their annual meetings are the perfect opportunity for young scientists like me to get in touch with the leading experts in this field. At the meeting, I got the opportunity to present my latest research data in the form of a poster. During this presentation, I got a lot of feedback from other PhD students and professors regarding my project and the methods I use. Furthermore, the seminars and workshops gave me a lot of information on the current state of my research field. In conclusion, the event was a great success for establishing international research contacts and advancing my project. www.achems.org |
