Report | My research project is about the organization and modulation of the human and murine olfactory perception. In April 2014, I participated in the Association of Chemoreception Science’s 36th Annual Meeting, an international conference located in Florida (USA). This conference deals with the chemosensory system and is worldwide the most-attended event in this specific research area. It is visited by exceptional researchers and sponsored by industrial companies. Due to this, it was possible for me to communicate my own research project in a poster presentation with a broad audience consisting of people working in universities and industrial companies. It was an outstanding experience for me and a very good chance to get new ideas and to represent the RUB’s exceptional research and the RUB Research School as an excellent graduate school. The whole project was very well accepted by the community and a lot of fruitful conversations and possible collaborations developed. www.achems.org |
