| Report | My PhD project in the department of Animal Ecology, Biodiversity and Evolution at the RUB focuses on the fate of wild pollinators and the impact land use and domesticated honeybees have on them. Thanks to the financial support of the Research School PLUS I was able to visit the IUSSI, a conference of the International Union for the Study of Social Insects, which is only held every four years. I had the chance to present my research in front of the scientific community of my research field and most importantly, I met other researchers from similar or different research areas and could exchange ideas. I am determined to keep some contacts vivid and see it as another step of building a network |
