| Report | The EEA-ESEM joint meeting features the work of scientists in economics, econometrics, and related fields. Visiting the conference provided me with the opportunity to present my research and discuss topics that are highly relevant for my dissertation. I gave a talk on the employment effects of informal care and had fruitful discussions with other empirically working economists. This greatly advanced my work and inspired prospective papers. Additionally, I received highly motivating feedback by researchers who became interested in my work through the conference website. It has been a valuable experience and a great opportunity to discuss my own work as well as the work of other participants. |
