| Report | At the 8th World Congress on Particle Technology, I was able to present the most recent results of my research group in the field of computational simulation of particle/fluid systems with a special focus on heat transport. I’ve attended many interesting and forward-looking talks and sessions and met some of the world’s renowned researchers. On the fringes of the conference I was able to talk to different research groups form different parts of the world (Europe, China, USA) and discuss interesting phenomena and special problems related to my work.
