| Report | At the ICNAAM 2014 conference I presented the results, gained from the work of my research group during the last years. I showed advantages and also difficulties in using the lattice Boltzmann method for simulating the motion of heated solid particle in a fluid flow. I was able to speak with many international researchers and discuss the progress and problems of the mentioned computational simulation technique and their experience. We made new contact to European research groups, working on related topics (Austria, Slovakia). We have also indicated first steps to a possible co-operation with Prof. Rimantas Kacianauskas from the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University in Lithuania. http://www.ruhr-uni-bochum.de |
