| Report | My PhD project analyzes several international concepts and treaties, including Human Rights Law as well as the Responsibility to Protect as to their abilities to create legal obligations with regard to climate change. Thanks to funding granted from the Research School PLUS, I attended the Training on Human Rights and the Environment in Geneva. I gained a thorough understanding of the linkages between the main international human rights and environmental law instruments. Lectures were hold by renowned academics such as the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights and the Environment John Knox. The training enabled me to expand my network of contacts and to discuss ideas with other researchers. www.geneva-academy.ch |
