| Report | The funding of the Research School PLUS gave me the opportunity to visit the Eccles Institute of Neuroscience at the Australian National University in Canberra. In my field of research, one of the worldwide leading experts is conducting his research at this institute. I had the great chance to work in his laboratory for a few weeks, where I received many hands-on experiences while getting deeper insight into the methods and techniques he and his team are applying. Additionally, I could discuss my research project with scientists form different areas of neuroscience at the institute. Overall, this lab visit was a highly valuable experience for me as a young scientist. |
