| Report | Thanks to the funding by Research School PLUS I was enabled to visit Ryan Mitchell and Matthew Shepherd at the Indiana University Bloomington in August and September 2016. Their group as well as my group in Bochum are participating in the BES-III collaboration, which is operating a spectrometer at an electron-positron collider located in Beijing, China. Under their guidance I made myself familiar with a data analysis software tool which has been developed by Ryan Mitchell among others. Furthermore my PhD project was enriched by fruitful discussions about data analyzing methods and I even could establish contact with other experts. My visit was the starting point to an ongoing exchange. www.iub.edu |
