Report | I did my PhD in the Biophysical Chemistry where we investigate the molecular mechanisms of a protein family which is important in the immune defence. We characterise these mechanisms by means of protein-protein interactions using a broad range of biochemical and biophysical methods. During my PhD I had the chance to visit the Roux lab in Geneva for two months in 2016 where I could comprehend my studies by testing proteinmembrane interactions. Besides gaining insights into membrane physics and fluorescence microscopy, I had fruitful scientific exchange with researchers from all over the world and expanded my scientific network. |
