| Report | My research covers the areas of high frequency technology and signal processing in the field of electrical engineering. The support by the Research School allowed me to attend the IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation in July 2014. The conference took place in Memphis (Tennessee, USA) and provided presentations and workshops in the field of microwave technology. I had the opportunity to present the results of my work, which deals with indoor localization of wireless devices, to an international audience. The attendance at this conference enabled me to exchange scientific knowledge. In addition, I used the participation to make new contacts to scientists in my research field and I could benefit from discussions dealing with my research work. The publication helped me make important decisions on my dissertation. In conclusion, I used the conference to establish new contacts and to improve my doctorate through worthwhile scientific conversations. |
