| Report | With a 50% funding of the research school RUB I could take part at a international conference. The GAMM (85th Annual Meeting of the International Association of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics) was my first international conference and I was amazed by the amount and by the large variety of participants. It was located in Erlangen, Germany, and is a very important conference for scientists of all areas of applied mathematics and mechanics. I had the possibility to present my work. The most advantage was the exchange during the brakes and the dinner with a lot of different scientists. They were of very different grades of experiences, i.e. Master students, PhD's and PI's. All in all I am glad that I could join such an interesting international conference with the help of the funding of the RUB Research School and I hope that I can take part at another one during my PhD-project. www.uni-erlangen.de |
