| Report | The 38th Annual German Studies Association conference took place 9/18-21/2014, in Kansas City. The GSA is the premier interdisciplinary association of US scholars focused on German literature, culture and history. The conference brought together over 1000 scholars from all over the world, mainly from the US. Younger scholars presented their research alongside established members. Thanks to the travel grant I had the opportunity not only to present and discuss my PhD project, but also to get in contact with both national and international scientists. Thus I started to build a network, planning e.g. to invite a scholar to contribute an article to a volume edited by a colleague and me. http://www.thegsa.org |
