| Report | As a part of my PhD research project I investigate spinel surfaces by performing electrostatically embedded cluster calculations. RUB Research School Plus enabled me to expand my horizons and study the aforementioned surfaces with a different technique by funding my 2-month research stay at the group of Prof. Annabella Selloni. I investigated cobalt ferrite as an active catalyst using a plane-wave-pseudopotential scheme. My academic mobility gave me the opportunity to work with people from a variety of backgrounds and establish new contacts, collaborative in nature and with a long lasting effect. https://chemistry.princeton.edu/ |
