| Report | Thanks to the International Realization Budget-funding, I was able to realize a research stay in Florence including an excursion to Siena, Perugia, Assisi and Arezzo. In the library of the ‘Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz’ I mainly sighted remotely published literature and searched for dissertation relevant paintings in the vast collection of auction catalogs dating back to the 19th century. The results and the possibility to see the original artworks on site was crucial for my PhD-project. Furthermore I was able to establish new contacts with other PhD-students and Postdoc-fellows from Germany, Italy and the United States by attending a three day workshop on new tendencies in the field of Italien studies . www.khi.fi.it/Startseite |
